Re: Cuba / Mexico
Two completely different places really close to each other.

It's probably about the last chance to see Cuba before the septics ruin it and if you want one of those 'once in a lifetime' holidays, take a camera and go to Havana- it's unbeatable.

If that sounds like hard work and not your kind of holiday and you want to sit on a beach, get pissed and relax, Plays Del Carmen in Mexico is your kind of place.

Think of Cuba as a cool adventure holiday and Mexico as relaxing holiday and you'll easily make up your own mind.

The other half is a teacher. Can only do school holidays unfortunately. My first option is Cuba. Just wanted to see whats good and not. Tried trip advisor but you get the same said pretty much for both places.

Been to Cuba twice. Fantastic place.

Why do you want to go in August?

I did 2 weeks all inclusive in 5star for £800 each. I went in December and just waited til the week before to book.
